Sugar Sand Park In Boca Raton FL

Sugar Sand Park is a 60-acre park in Boca Raton, FL. It is located at 501 North Military Trail. This park has several features such as two fishing lakes, four playgrounds and many family picnic areas. The Sugar Sand Park was designed by architects from the famed Wallace McHarg Roberts and Todd firm (WMRT). It formerly opened on December 7, 1994 after renovations were made to the area which cost about $9 million.

The main attraction of this park for kids is the Family Fun & Sports Center. Here, you can find a kid’s play center that is unlike any other with its own arcade room, jump house and live entertainment stage that hosts parties every weekend. You will also be able to a sports facility where children can play Little League and soccer, in addition to the carousel and two playgrounds.

During summertime, there is a daily program which comprises of live performances by musicians. They play every Monday through Thursday starting at 6 pm until 7:30 pm. There are also lawn events that are free for all visitors to access. However, during these events, space is limited especially on weekends so it’s best to get there early if you want a good spot.
